The Romeike family deserve to stay together and deserves the right to choose how and where to educate their children.
They do not want to follow the German educational system and they do not need to pay fines for following a different method. If the USA supports other forms of education such as homeschooling then the Romeike family should deserve to stay in the USA under their umbrella of protection without criticism, fines, or harassment from the German government. I believe as an immigrant that one could only have strong reasons to leave their home country behind. The Romeike family can't find support in their home country and they are now in the USA for the pursuit of happiness.
