Cracking down on law abiding citizens' ability to have guns. It is against the Second Amendment. A gun, in the right hand, can save peoples' lives. If it is illegal for that gun to be in the hand of someone who would save lives with it, it would be very possible for a criminal to commit mass murder.
What qualifies someone as a criminal is that the have broken a law or laws. How then, will creating a law to prevent law abiding citizens help? How will it prevent someone who has no reason in their mind to follow that law from getting guns. This has been tried with drugs, but all outlawed drugs are in an underground market of some form. So, how will a crackdown on guns prevent someone from getting a gun if they are not law abiding? The answer is, it won't. That is why I created this petition
