PROTECT the second amendment and the right to bare arms

Created by J.S. on December 14, 2012

The second amendment to the United States Constitution protects the right of we the people to keep and bear arms.

The constitution also lists our rights as human beings while restricting our government.

Some of these rights include:

- Freedom of Speech and Religion
- The right to elect our presidents
- The abolition of slavery
- The right to refuse search / seize without a warrant

America was dubbed "Land of the Free" for a reason. To ban or control our right to bear arms would be to disrupt the same constitution that makes other freedoms possible.

Guns don't kill people themselves, they need a person behind them. New gun control laws will only restrict the freedom of innocent people. The truly careless people, the ones who carry out these heinous crimes, will find another way.
