Mr President, We Urge you to take the CORRECT way in controlling fire arms in the country and that is:
1. Cracking down on the Illegal sales of fire arms. Banning certain weapons wont do anything with the amount of excess fire arms in existence. Even if you ban them a kid can go into a "Ghetto" and practically get his hands on any fire arm he wants.
This step will also require more police officers thus creating jobs instead of hindering jobs by closing Fire Arms retailers.
In consideration of school shootings, have a MANDATORY class for any owner of a fire arm, be it a rifle, or a pistol, or a shotgun, on the proper storage procedures, especially if they have children. I.E Gun Safes.
