In the wake of the horrible tragedy in Connecticut, many Americans our looking for answers and many have pushed for greater gun control, even politicians with pro gun voting records. I believe that these are emotional reactions to this devasting recent event. This is a petition to protect our 2nd Amendment rights and the ability to own purchase and own semi-automatic firearms and high-capacity magazines, but even more so to delay the passing of any gun control bill for or against that may be supported by hurting people who otherwise might not. Allow the American people more time to think and pray on these decisions.
