Protect the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and protect the right of the people to keep and bear arms

The goal of this petition is to force the Obama Administration to protect the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution of the Bill of Rights. National dialogue may be critical, but its important to understand that guns don’t kill people; people kill people and not always with a gun. There are more automobile involved fatalities every year, than fatalities involving guns.
Yes, laws are the only means in which we can reduce the number of people murdered in gun related deaths, but not by legislating a law that would infringe on the second amendment of law abiding citizens.
Gun control starts at home and not on the doorstep of congress or the White House.
