PROTECT SENIOR CITIZENS FROM BEING THROWN UNDER THE BUS ON SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE

Created by B.V. on December 11, 2012

Protect Senior Citizens from being thrown under the bus on earned entitlements of Social Security and Medicare. Senior Citizens have already lost much needed supplemental income from interest on savings due to the Federal Reserve Policy of reducing interest on savings and the interest rate banks are charged to borrow from other banks. Social security is not adequate in and of itself to provide a living so seniors depend on interest on savings to supplement this entitlement. Now it is being suggested by GOP that to avoid the Fiscal Cliff, Senior Citizens are to take less in Social Security and Medicare and the age for benefits be raised again. Medicare is an entitlement paid for by laboring persons during their work life and, in addition, Senior Citizens pay a monthly premium each month
