Protect Social Security payments from being defaulted

Created by L.W. on January 14, 2013

When considering budget and cuts, do not allow social security to be sacrificed. It is not a tax and does not belong to the government, and should not be treated as such. It belongs to the American people who have paid into it. If the matter is not resolved, thousands of disabled and elderly Americans will have lost their entire income. This means they cannot afford to pay rent, electric, gas, medications, or food. In other words, it would possibly result in the death of thousands of Americans who cannot survive otherwise.
