Let's petition the White House to protect Thanksgiving and it's meaning. Thanksgiving is fast losing it's importance in American History. Unfortunately it is becoming nothing more than another shopping day. Families, instead of sitting together to give thanks are being forced to cut their time short, just to go to work.
We need to remember why Thanksgiving is important. Let's not let it become known as a day that destroyed the family get togethers.
Let's petition that non-essential businesses not open until midnight at the earliest on the Friday following Thanksgiving.
Let's put family first America. Let's make it a law to protect the holiday of Thanksgiving.
