The passing of the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) on May 2012* nullified The Smith-Mundt Act of 1948, which explicitly forbids information and psychological operations aimed at influencing U.S. public opinion. Pass legislation which will restore these protections and also exclude the government from: Staging propaganda events while using crisis actors and the mainstream media to report it as real in order to sway public opinion. Include that the Federal government must transparently disclose details of domestic shooting or bombing attacks by rogue individuals which include detailed information about the shooter/perpetrator, their history, and the victims. *1 month later the first of many shooting incidents occurred followed by a push for gun control by president.
