Protect the validity of the Geneva agreement concerning the dispute of the essequibo between Venezuela and Guyana.

Created by D.F. on February 18, 2016

Guyana has repetedly ignored the Geneva agreement by giving concessions to Exxon Mobile to drill for oil within the Essequibo maritime area that is disputed by Venezuela. Such actions violate international law by making decisions without the support of Venezuela government and the use of disputed natural resources over disputed zone. Guyana continues to ignore a possible solution over the essequibo and continues to grant concessions to transnational for oil exploration within the essequibo. Therefore, we ask the white house to protect the geneva agreement over the essequibo to help find a solution about the disputed zone of essequibo and avoid conflics between Guyana and Venezuela.
