Rape and other forms of sexual abuse in the military is a serious epidemic that needs to be stopped. Many women in the US military are raped and then forced out of the military because they are considered mentally unstable, while their attacker goes unpunished. Because of this, many victims do not report their attack. It is unfair that any victim has to go through such a traumatic event and see their attacker go home free. This flaw in the justice system can be easily fixed and it should have been long ago. We the people of the United States believe that it is wrong for anyone, man or woman, to have to be punished for being a victim.
