Protect Water & End the Hunger Strike. Meet with Ikwe, urge Harper to honor treaty rights and meet with chief Spence

Created by M.C. on December 29, 2012

Water is Life & Knows No Borders

As part of Idle no More, Attawapiskat First Nation chief Chief Theresa Spence is on a Hunger Strike. She requests Stephen Harper meet with her to address Bill C-45 that violates treaties between Canada & First Nations. This bill concerns all who protect Land, Water, Life.

Without Water, there is no Life.

The bill would leave Water prey to exploitation & pollution. Borders being a new invention that doesn't impact Water, many in the U.S. support chief Spence and Idle No More. Mishkomekinaak Ikwe is leading a car caravan from International Falls, Minnesota to Washington, D.C. to urge President Obama to call on Stephen Harper to meet Spence.

Please, President Obama, meet with Ikwe, take her counsel to heart, & ask Harper to meet chief Spence.
