For too long, white Americans and those of other ethnicities who appear white have to be cautious about where and when they walk in urban areas due to the color of their skin. Knockout and other attacks are becoming increasingly common.
Recently Christopher Marquez, a former Marine, was confronted by a group of youths in a McDonald's where he was asked, "If black lives matter?" Marquez felt the question was threatening, so he decided to ignore them and then later exited the McDonalds. Upon exiting, he was hit over the head and knocked out. When he came to, his wallet and other valuables were stolen.
My fellow Americans, when a a former marine cannot safely eat in a public area due to the color of his skin, the time for change has come. Please sign this petition.
