Protect your privacy stop employers from running credit & bankruptcy checks ever. Unfair hiring, based on private issues

We the people, need to tell our Government to stop employers from being allowed to run credit checks ever, this includes bankruptcy checks, unless you need to be bonded. These are private matters, you shouldn't have to explain yourself to a employer. Life happens more and more in this day and age. With downsizing of companies, restructuring of jobs, divorce. People run into a situation in their lifetime, that may reflect poorly on credit. Your private issues are not a employers business. Everyone needs to work, you shouldn't have to explain your credit or your past personal life during or at anytime in the hiring process or after. This creates a discriminatory situation, people shouldn't be judged when things are not in their control, like a layoff, or divorce, protect your privacy.
