Protecting America's Law Enforcement Officers from Civil Unrest

Created by J.M. on September 30, 2011

Any physical reaction by law enforcement officer or officers of municipal, city, county, regional, state, or federal levels during protests related to the occupy movement brought under investigation by internal agencies will take into consideration the size of the crowd and the level of civil unrest to ensure a law enforcement officer's career is not jeopardized for ensuring his safety as well as the safety of fellow officers, responding to the situation as he, she, or they deem necessary. Any such case that results in any penalty, suspension, or disciplinary action will be reviewed and by federal agencies with authority to overturn any decisions made.
