Protect legally registered gun owners under the Privacy Act of 1974 prohibiting use of personal information to create databases for online use without restriction that could result in malicious acts.
The people deserve to know, however, it is dangerous to create databases obtained under the Freedom of Information Act from local law enforcement agencies that could result in home invasions for those with or without firearms by criminals seeking to obtain firearms illegally.
