Protections for Salaried Exempt Workers

Prevent or penalize employers for abusing exempt salaried workers. Since the passage of the new law raising the salary threshold of non-exempt employees (paid hourly with protections), employers have been grappling with how to pay for their staff. Employers force exempt employees to work longer and multiple jobs to cover the increase in non-exempt staff since the number of labor hours are cut now since exempt employees below a certain salary threshold are now moved to non-exempt. Employers always made exempt employees work way over 40 hours a week anyway, now it is just getting worse.
