The Boy Scouts of America have chosen to stall their decision on their discriminatory policy. It currently allows for exclusion of gay and atheist youth and adults from the organization.
This should not be allowed by the Federal Government, as the BSA receives federal money and privileges on federal land that other nondiscriminatory organizations do not receive.
The BSA has long been an American symbol, and the leadership and self-reliance skills are a good addition to any person's life. As such, homosexuals and atheist should not be denied the honor of learning said skills.
I petition that Obama announce his resignation as the Honorary President of The Boy Scouts of America, to show that the United States Government will not support or tolerate discrimination.
