We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Provide the 2016 Presidential Electors an Intelligence Briefing on Russian Interference in our Presidential Election

Created by J.H. on December 12, 2016

This briefing is necessary for the electors to carry out their constitutional responsibilities as specified in the Twelfth Amendment (Amendment XII) to the U.S. Constitution.

The October 7, 2016 joint statement released on Election Security by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) stated "The U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) is confident that the Russian Government" and its "theft and disclosures" of hacked emails was "intended to interfere with the U.S. election process."

Recent news stories in the Washington Post, the New York Times and on CNN have provided additional support for these claims.

Electors need an intelligence briefing to make an informed decision when they cast their votes
