We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Provide 3rd party presidential candidates (i.e. Gary Johnson) to receive intelligence briefings.

Created by J.D. on August 19, 2016

Intelligence briefings are provided to presidential candidates in order to enable whomever is elected to have a more effective transition into the role of president. All eligible candidates, not just the Democrats and Republicans, should be provided the same information. By withholding information only from 3rd party candidates, like Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party, places them at a disadvantage if they are elected president and signals to the American people during the election season that their options for the next president is limited to only two options despite actually having 3 or more choices.
