Provide $ 500 Million worth of grants to small business to incubate high technology products in the U.S. to create jobs.

Created by M.C. on October 29, 2011

The U.S. government should provide $ 500 Million per year over the next ten years in grants to companies which invest in high technology products and / or technologies that will create high paying jobs that remain in the U.S. This grant money should be matched by Fortune 500 companies to show their commitment to small business innovation in the U.S. As these high technology jobs spur the development of science and engineering programs at major Universities, more kids in high school will opt to pursue science, engineering, physics, and advanced mathematics degrees when they arrive at college. Higher incomes mean more disposable income for savings, investment, and / or discretionary spending. As the rounds of spending increase so does the investment capital of high technology businesses.
