Who in the world supervises the FDA??
I've always respected viewpoints that were against GMO food and the Monsanto controversies while not actively adopting food boycotts of my own. The GMO SALMON has catapulted me to the side of our American health and the lack of transparency in the production of Genetically Modified Food with accurate labeling to evaluate for myself whether I feel safe to consume or not.
What is the BENEFIT in LACK of true labeling? "This Salmon could be fake or injected with hormones". Congress passes laws and the FDA interprets them to the shadiest level they can get away with, then asking companies to "voluntarily" label with the misleading labels.
This is the first GMO animal approved by FDA for sale in US. We want the ability to read ACCURATE ENFORCED labels.
