We feel that the the tax code should be altered to allow an additional exemption (similar to those for blind or over 65) for anyone currently serving active duty in the military as well as honorably discharged veterans.
It is our belief that these people have earned the benefit, and that by allowing a lifetime exemption, you will provide additional incentives for serving, aiding recruitment.
