provide adequate transportation alternatives to people who are not allowed to drive

Created by B.C. on November 13, 2012

People are barred from holding a driver's license for many reasons, including having a medical disability. State Departments of Motor Vehicles need to be regulated by the Federal Government. Some states like California have decided that disabled people can be stripped of their privilege to drive because they feel there is an alternative to driving. There currently is no affordable, adequate means of transportation other than driving, because it takes all day to get anywhere on the bus. The Federal Government needs to provide an alternative means of transportation for all people who, for any reason, do not drive.
