Provide adjunct professors partial student loan forgiveness.

Several surveys report that 70-80% of all college courses taught in the United States are taught by adjunct faculty. While full-time professors can qualify for student loan forgiveness after 10 years of payments, adjunct faculty are often unable to make their student loan payments. Adjuncts often accept these part-time positions because higher education institutions have moved away from hiring more full-time faculty, and colleges and universities will not hire applicants without college teaching experience. Because adjuncts serve a vital role in higher education insitutions that is not honored through their pay, the Department of Education should forgive adjunct faculty student loan debt that is tied to the number of courses they teach in an academic year, providing much-needed debt relief
