Proposal:
Provide air cover to UN aid convoys into Aleppo using US and coalition air force.
Background:
A UN aid convoy into Aleppo, Syria was recently bombed which left 20 humanitarian aid workers dead robbing a war torn region of life saving aid.
Rationale:
Russia and Syria have not been playing by the same rules that the US has. Syrian govt. backed Russian troops have targeted civilian population including women and children. The world nations will not oppose US defending UN backed humanitarian aid. We cannot let a rogue Russia into bullying us out of our moral responsibility as a world leader, a distinction won over many years of defending the defenseless. Let us not hide behind international law to fulfill our obligations as human beings.
