Police Officers have one of the toughest jobs in the country. They are not paid enough for what they do or the issues they deal with. The dangers they deal with everyday are real. They include, Robberies, Burglaries, Shootings, Stabbings, Domestic Incidents, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Explosives, Drunk drivers, Verbal and Physical Altercations and many more. The mental stress is also another issue. They work rotating shifts, rarely have the same days off and often work every holiday. Officers rarely have time to spend with their families and work long, exhausting shifts.
