The public debt is seemingly out of control. We petition the Obama administration to create and publish a comprehensive list of those federal government programs and expenditures which are not necessary to the welfare of the nation, and which may be cut in the event of a true debt crisis. We feel that the American people have a right to know how the government would respond to demands that our federal budget be balanced, and the exact measures this administration would take.
