Provide the American public with more information on why Anwar al-Awlaki, an American, was killed without due process.

Created by S.C. on October 03, 2011

On September 30th, 2011 American-born al-Qaeda member Anwar al-Awlaki was killed during a Predator drone strike in Yemen.

Details about his ties to al-Qaeda, his alleged involvement in terror plots, standing in AQAP, and his status as an enemy combatant have continuously been withheld from the American public. While the administration claims these cover-ups are a matter of national security, the lack of information leaves the American public to wonder if a precedent has been created which would allow the President to order the assassination of any citizen he deems a threat.

We The People, who expect the transparent government promised to us, demand to know why the President ordered the assassination of Anwar al-Awlaki without making any effort to capture and grant him due process
