There is a lack of a well proportioned degree in Urban forestry that gears students for the work force. The arrow focus of current stucture leaves the student lacking in key areas such pathology, entomology, cimbing, geography and policy. With the increase in urban sprawl and reduction of natural areas, we are going to need more people with a great understanding of the benifits of the urban Greenspace as well as how to care for them.
