Let's just make the main point of this petition concise: A good portion of the youth of today are delinquent and out of control. Being a 9th grader myself, too often do I hear stories about and see students who skip school, smoke weed and cigarettes, get into fights, and misbehave in general. I have been a long-time fan of A&E's reality TV show, Beyond Scared Straight, and feel that the Scared Straight programs are exactly what this generation needs to help us better ourselves as a whole, so many of us don't end up in jail or on the streets. I'm asking you to sign this petition to help save the members of this generation of youth that are struggling to go on the right path. Join me in trying to better society as a whole.
