Created by B.S. on December 13, 2012

Provide an annual summary tax receipt to each citizen detailing:

-Federal taxes paid that year / prior / lifetime

-Your ranking of taxes paid (you paid more than x% of Americans)

-Summary of benefits received (spending > 1% of total expenditures broken out)

Example: $/% went to National Defense, interest on debts, Social Security, etc

-Summary of benefits to your state / region / taxpayer profile

-Current / prior year’s budgeted & actual expenditures / obligations

-Total federal taxes collected that year / last year

-Current / prior year’s deficit / total debt

Americans receive a receipt for buying a pack of gum. Yet, taxpayers receive little comparable after paying their taxes.
