Provide better assistance to veterans and their families who are facing homelessness or unemployment.

As an unemployed veteran facing homelessness, I am appalled at how how many of my brothers and sisters are in the same boat. The thought of not being able to help ourselves is more frightening than the thought of going to war. The charities that are out there are laughable to say the least. A few veterans have told me when they ask them how do they get help, the charities either turn them away or tell veterans they don't know who can be of assistance. That is why I am petitioning the Obama administration to fund charities that can offer veterans homes, food, and clothing allowances til they can get on their feet. As well as, offering any vet in those programs guarenteed job placement. The only limitation to it should be 90 days out of basic training with a honorable discharge.
