provide better financial support to our Olympic athletes.

Created by R.R. on February 13, 2014

Increase stipends to Olympic athletes, reduce taxes on their winnings, & provide them adequate equipment (directly or through sponsor acquisition support).

Olympic athletes get a tiny stipend, requiring a job that impacts training & family. Medal winners are charged hefty taxes. In Sochi, Keri Herman can't get sponsors, & skis in broken boots + a teammate's borrowed pants.

Olympians are ambassadors to the world. They represent us throughout their years of training, qualifying, & competing across the globe.

America is "the land of opportunity", where anyone can achieve their dreams if they're wiling to work hard & sacrifice.

We are the richest country in the world.

They have life & liberty; now show the world we support our Olympians by easing the burden in their pursuit of happiness.
