Whereas, biofeedback is an untapped health care resource; and
Whereas, in 2009 health care consumed 16.3% of the GDP, and is projected to be 20% by 2021; and
Whereas costly disorders ranging from PTSD to depression to cardiac disease drive up the cost of health care;
Whereas the number of U.S. military suicides in 2012 was greater than the number of combat deaths in Afghanistan, now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By This group of petitioners that:
Increased funding allocation for community services in effective biofeedback performed by trained professionals as well as stimulus for basic biofeedback research; and, be it
Further Resolved, That funding for delivery of biofeedback services to American Armed Service Members, past and present, be allocated in order to facilitate optimal transit
