Nursing is an art and science. Continuing education and specialty training is essential to staying with the most current research and technology. Providing an incentive for certification to registered nurses will help to reward and compensate their efforts. This will increase education of patient care beyond the basic current requirements. Most nurses that are oncology specialist and/or diabetic educators do not receive any difference for their qualifications. Please help bring this issue to the forefront and make a change in compensation.
