The USA should support Dutch high school students with monetary help during their graduation project, or Profielwerkstuk. Dutch students have to spend at least 60 hours of free time working on these projects, whereas they could also have spend this time working at real jobs, stimulating the local, national and global economy. These students have to be compensated for their time and since the Dutch government is not planning on spending more on education, we ask the United States Government to step in.
The 80.000 students
working for the Dutch minimum wage account to about 22,51 million USD in economic value.
It should be possible to spend the small amount of 0.01763 billion on
helping the Dutch students and by doing so strengthen the diplomatic relations
with the Netherlands.
