Students with higher education ought to be given a better chance of getting a Green Card than people who come to this country illegally or overstay their legal visit.
Instead of stamping a Green Card to every diploma (like some politicians suggest), I think it would be wiser to expedite the H1B and Green Card process and make it easier for hard working foreign nationals who pay taxes and abide by the law.
Currently, it takes years to petition and process an application for a Green Card. We have to jump a lot of hoops to even be eligible to apply for one, especially if one is being sponsored by his/her employer.
Why can't the government process the applications faster?
