Ukraine is an important economic partner for the United States and the rest of the world in the developing eastern European region.
Due to the recent revolution against a Russian backed puppet regime, Ukraine is suffering severe economic hardship.
The United States should directly, and urge the IMF and EU countris, to aid the people of Ukraine for the following reasons:
1. Show the world that the people and government of the United States stand behind the values of freedom and liberty.
2. Create stability in the region by stabalizing (and helping grow) an economy with 22 million workers and a $335 billion GDP according to the IMF.
3. Improve strategic relations in a region that is important for agriculture, energy and for the potential development of vast gas resources.
