Any honorably discharged veteran who served in the Armed Forces during war-time, should be able to use the GI Bill benefits that they signed up for, and paid for, regardless of time in service and without an expiration date.
Approving this is good for the soldiers, their families, and the economy. It is all around good for America! Currently there is a minimum time in service of 3 years, or 2 years if that is the full initial enlistment period. There is also a 10 year expiration on when the benefits can be used.
Lets show our veterans (our family and friends) who served in war-time that we appreciate the sacrifices they made, and were willing to make, now and always. By honoring our veterans, America wins!
