Provide Education Loan Forgiveness for Honorably Discharged Veterans and Service Members

Created by N.L. on February 27, 2015

After honorably discharging from the military, service members often find difficulty transferring their military training and experience, into civilian sector positions. Due to this, many return to school, and realize they will be forced to take out student loans to reach the level of education required to excel into today’s world.

This continues to be devastating to those who believed that service to their country would allot them the benefit of a full education. After going into debt, these service members spend their lives repaying education loans, while trying to raise families, thus never fully getting on their feet after serving our country.

With this in mind, we petition to have student loans of honorably discharged Veterans and Service Members be forgiven in full.
