Provide EEOC requirements for collecting over 50 age data on job applications to enforce anti-age discrimination.

Created by M.M. on August 27, 2013

Workers over 50, qualified, able and experienced are faced with subtle discrimination because of age. Reasons for non-hire are ambiguous, such as a more suitable candidate, a candidate that more fits our requirement, often hide age as the deciding factor. As many Americans will be required to retire much later in life than earlier generations, why should older workers be forced into lower paying or menial jobs because they are stereotyped into being "too old" for the position. Women especially find themselves vulnerable to this subtle discrimination. When a company provides a lot of data that shows they did not hire an older worker, the company can be held accountable for practices that are against the EEOC on age discrimination. America has a huge pool of older workers who need jobs.
