Provide face to face representatives for Medicare beneficiaries to ask questions and resolve issues with Medicare.

As a Social Security Service Representative it has always concerned me that the people that need the most help understanding medical billing and insurance coordination is the disabled and the elderly.
There are empty desks in most Social Security offices and would not require a full staff just a space for a representative to conduct interviews. The Medicare representative could work alongside the Social Security representatives. Social Security and Medicare usually go hand in hand anyway. It would not require hiring additional Medicare staff by transferring a 800 number representative to a local office instead of a phone room to work with people that do not have phones or the ability to hang on hold.
