Since 1985, Congress has raised it's salary 15 times to "keep up with inflation" yet has only raised minimum wage 6 times. Members of congress are worrying about how to make themselves more money that they don't need, rather than helping the American people.
Mr. Obama, I speak with the millions of Americans who deserve fiscal equality. We urge a reform to Congressional pay.
Mr. Obama, we ask and we need you to protect Americans over Congress.
Mr Obama, we request an Amendment to the US constitution requiring and pay change to Congress, also apply to the US minimum wage.
If Congress wanted to raise their pay 5% to keep up with inflation that must also mean minimum wage needs to increase 5% to keep up with inflation.
Mr. Obama, protect hardworking Americans.
