Provide Federal Funding to Elon Musk's Hyperloop.

Created by P.G. on August 12, 2013

Elon Musk is the founder, inventor and CEO of both Tesla Motors and SpaceX. On August 12th, 2013 he released his newest project, Hyperloop. He envisioned this project while pondering a local issue; how do you get from San Francisco to LA as fast and cost-effectively as possible? The current plan is to build a high-speed railway. Yet the name is misleading. This "high-speed" railway would be the slowest of its kind in the world. And due to the high cost of building, maintaining and everyday electricity it is very expensive. The hyperloop is a tube with no friction that generates its own electricity during the deceleration process. It would reach a speed of 400 mph and could take you from city to city in 30 mins. It will create jobs in engineering, construction, etc. Bring innovation back.
