Many States will automatically restore someones 2nd amendment rights convicted of a felony after sentence satisfaction; yet many do not.
I am not proposing that anyone and everyone with a felony conviction be allowed automatic restoration of gun rights. But those with NON GUN related crimes should be allowed the unrestricted constitutional right upon completion of the debt paid to society for the felon committed without it baring them for a lifetime there after.
Sentence satisfaction should be exactly what it implies. You have PAID YOUR DEBT. And any and all rights taken should be fully restored including the 2nd amendment right. (Except those who have committed crimes using fire arms)
I ask that ALL States be Federally Mandated to restore these rights upon completion of sentence.
