I provide care for my 100% disabled husband 24 hrs a day. V. A. pays a home health company $24/hr to care for my husband, 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. This company pays a home health care worker $8/hr. Company pockets $16/hr. Why not just pay me the $8/hr for 15 hours a week and save the government money! V. A. says they cannot pay family member for this care. WHY?
