This petition was created to save an early American icon in the Hostess Corporation, founder of many iconic treats including the Ding Dong, Twinkie, Cup Cake, and furthermore, Dolly Madison pies, cookies and more, etc. Many Americans grew up loving the products founded by this company and, it would be a tragedy to see it go. Considering the unemployment epidemic in the United States at the present time, including 18,500 lost jobs with its closing, the United States government should provide immediate financial assistance to Hostess and save this iconic brand!!
