Free high school education was implemented in the early 20th century to provide individuals with the skills needed for a blue collar society. Our 21st century society requires more specialized training than is obtained with only a high school education. It requires trade schools, technical schools, colleges and universities to prepare our citizens for the work force.
Education beyond high school is not economically feasible to many in our society. Even with Pell Grants and Student Loans our citizens are graduating with high debt that they will find difficult to re-pay. This is creating a situation in our country that is making it much harder for individuals to be socially mobile and to obtain the American Dream.
I respectfully request that we as provide all education for our citizens
